I have found another name change and I need to do further research. I can't confirm at the moment, but Barnum did change again the further back I look. Please be patient.
Originally, I was researching my Woolley's when I found my gggg-grandmother and my ggg-grandmother. 1. Elizabeth Willey 2. Rebecca Barnum.
Elizabeth m Bethuel Barnum/Bramlett/Bramel/etc. One of their children was Rebecca Barnum. They had no information listed for her. According to my partial family Bible and research, she married Daniel Neal/O'Neal/Neel/Neely/etc of MD, Charles Co?. They moved to Adams Twp., Champaign Co., OH.
I have my family traced down to me there.
I am still tracking my Willey/Woolley family in OH. These 2 families again married together through George H Woolley b 1854 and Elizabeth Rebecca Neal b 1855. This couple is buried in Auglaize Co., OH.
I failed to write the location of the fire in CT? and will have to research again to find it as I was so excited to find what I did.
No big secret now, but you will find we ARE related way back.
