I'm still trying to track down the source for the Nancy Bramlett/William Garrett marriage.

One researcher couldn't find that Abbeville History book which mentions them, but he did find a reference to the Bramlett-Garrett marriage in a copy of inscriptions from Edward Garrett's Bible. (Edward Garrett was born in 1733 and died in 1794.) The Bible entries were transcribed sixty years ago by the late Agness Elrod...

William Garrett, born 9 September, 1763 married Nancy Bramlett 5 June, 1788 by Rev. Joshua Palmer

Also...the Bible inscriptions say

Nicholas Ware Garrett, born 11 March, 1765 married Sarah Bramlett

"Also, William Harrison Garrett, son of Edward Garrett, Jr. and Elenor Higgins, son of Edward Garrett, Sr. and Anne Ousley, married Malinda Bramlette....Wm Harrison Garrett was born about 1815 in Laurens Co."

More info on these families would be appreciated.
