Delitha Riley gave her birth date and her husband's name and birth date in a deposition for her survivor's pension, which was based on her father John Riley's Revolutionary War service. Her decaration is dated March 23, 1852, in Boyle Co., Ky. Delitha stated that she and her sister, Peggy Maddox, were the only living children of Jalila and John Riley at that time.
