I am looking for the ancestors and relatives of my great great grandfather, Fielding Sparks Bramblett and his father Fielding Bramlett. Family story stated that the younger Fielding didn't want to be a "Junior" so he added the middle name "Sparks" and the second "b" in Bramblett. The following is in accordance to the information left by my great grandmother Mary Tom Bramblett Ford.
Fielding Sparks Bramblett was born 18 Mar 1849 in Harpers Ferry, Henry, Kentucky. He married Eliza Jane Rice on 18 Mar 1873. They had 6 children - of which one was Mary Tom, my great grandmother.
Fielding Bramlett was born 26 Apr 1814 - also in Harpers Ferry, Kentucky. He married Eliza Ann Sandford on 1/2 Jan 1838. They had 14 children of which I have names and some information.
Fielding's (Sr) father was supposedly from Virginia. That is the only clue I have to his parents' identity.I have no idea who or if he had siblings.
I have searched several sites online - including the Bramblett/Bramlett Information Center, but to no avail. If anyone has any information on this branch of the family, I would appreciate hearing from you.
