I've heard that Norton was settled by families from Taunton. I just looked the two towns up on the map and they really aren't close enough to be part of the same town. Norton is a little Northwest of Taunton, up a ways on the Taunton River. I know the two Braman families in Norton and Taunton are related, as I've been able to tie into both. I can't help put think that your's must be related if for nothing else then the name Anson which occures in the CT group as well. The third Daniel of Norton had a son Jesse Anson Braman, my ancetors. I've found Ansons all over that line! Anson just isn't that comman enough of a name to have gotten onto two unrelated branches ... although I have a Rolla Chubb in my line and I have found Rolla Chubbs who I can't tie into that line (but then I can't tie much into that line at this point.) By the way, my Martha Ann BRAMAN, daughter of Anson, son of Jesse Anson, married James Harvey CHUBB, the brother of Rolla CHUBB.
