Clare Avery Brakeman, son of John and E. Louisa (no maiden name) Brakeman, was born circa 1857 in Michigan. Clare married Jessie May Todd 12 May 1878 in Allegan County, Michigan.
Clare and Jessie had at least one child, Bessie C. Brakeman. I have no further information about Bessie. Did she marry? Have children? Did Clare and Jessie have other children?
John Brakeman, Clare's father, was born circa 1833 in NY, as was his wife Louisa. They were parents of at least two children: Orson Brakeman and Clare Avery Brakeman. I don't have any further information about Orson.
I'd like to learn more about his Brakeman family.
