My Brakeman line also came from NY to Lake Co., Ohio. Some of the children of the Lake Co. Brakeman family moved over to the Ashtabula Co., Ohio (Harpersville Twp.). I think it was on the Census records of Harpersville Twp. that I saw the names Peter and other family members.
My Brakeman line comes from Susannah Brakeman of NY, who was the 2nd wife of my 3rd gt. grandfather, Timothy Wood.
