Hi Ruby, this site might be of interest to you
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohashtab/

In the Ashtabula Co. Census I found these Brakeman people living in Harpersfield. In on place it says 1860 census yet in another (top of page with list) it says 1820 census. Anyway, listed are; John, Polly, Tunis. On the same site, Ashtabula Co. 1840 census. Again all these Brakeman people lived in Harpersfield. John C., John and Stephen.

Have you posted on the Sheridan Co., WY for info. on your aunts son born in 1951? I found the bio mother of a cousins adopted son by posting on the county site where the adoption took place (of course my cousin had requested my help). The 1/2 sister of the adopted son contacted me. Prior to posting on that county site I had posted all over the web!

I am researching the Timothy Wood/Susannah Brakeman line who lived in Ashtabula and surrounding areas. I know at one time they lived in Harpersfield.

Oops, on the 1830 Census for Ashtabula Co., are J.C and J. Brakeman of Harpersfield.

Hope some of this helps.

Suki
