Isaac Brakefield/Breakfield moved to Marion County, MS, in the early 1800's. He was married to Bathsheba Smith. They had four sons and a daughter. I've been unable to trace Isaac's ancestry, except that he probably was born in Georgia. He was apparently an educated man (relatively), for he served as Justice of the Quorum and appears in many of the records of early Marion County. Any information on the ancestry of this family would be greatly appreciated.
