hi,
i am sure you thought of this possable link but i must put it in print.
if you can trace your family from the UK back further maybe it will connect with isaac brechbiel/brakefield from germany/switzerland in the 1700's. maybe they traveled though the UK and some choose to stay there for a while. it's just a thought.
