Alvin Jasper Brakefield was the brother to John Sam Brakefield. I'm trying to find out who their parents were.

Alvin Jasper Brakefield married (?) Pichard and after her death he married her sister Susan Pichard.
Their children were:
Georgia Lee (b) 1893 (married her 1st cousin David Elmer Brakefield, son of Jan Sam and Mary Brakefield)
James Henry (b) abt 1895,
William Jasper Brakefield (b) abt 1898
Lella Sexton Brakefield (b) 19 Jun 1900 (d) 13 Jan 1987 (m) Jess Dickinson,
Roy Brakefield (b) 1904
Elvie Showatter Brakefield (b) 30 Apr 1908 (d) 1997 (m) (?) Hightower
Wallace Kermot Brakefield (b) 1910
Homer Jackson Brakefield(b) abt 1913 (m) Gaynell Yarbough
Carl Veto (b)abt 1915 (m) Doris Thrasher.

Several of these children moved from Haleyville, Ala in Winston County to Birmingham, Alabama and raised their families.
