I believe this Raymond Brake was the son of George Washington Brake b. September 09, 1891 in Japan, MO and his 1st wife Nellie Ethyl Lohman.

They appear on the 1930 Boone, Crawford Co., MO census (Ancestry.com) - Page: 2B; Enumeration District: 5:
Household Members: Name Age
Geo W Brake 39 (all b. MO), he did odd jobs, did not serve in the military
May Brake 32
Georgie Brake 13
Helen Brake 11
Raymond Brake 9
Lee Brake 5
Harold Brake 2 1/12

George's parents were:
Felix S. Brake b. November 1851 in IL and his wife
Frances C. McGuire b. February 23, 1869 in MO. They married May 06, 1888 Franklin Co., MO.

Felix S. Brake was the son of Felix G. Brake and his unknown wife whose initials on the census were S. H.

Felix G. Brake b. 1822 was the son of my ancestor Joshua Brake and his wife Elizabeth Unknown.

Joshua was born c1790 in KY, the son of William Brake and Sarah Lane.

Regards,
Janice Mauldin Castleman
