I really need help desperately to locate the parents of Jesse H. Brake born in or abt. 1815. Data that I have received from one source had his parents as William M. Brake b. 1791 and Mary Robinson b. 1790. Records that I have found is:
Jesse H. Brake m. Mary Davis in Morgan Co., IL Jan 11,1838.
1850 Census for Laclede Co., MO
Break,(notice spelling) Jesse age 35 birthplace KY
wife Mary age 29 birth place KY

John T. age 10 birthplace IL (my gggrandfat.
Lucy Ann age 8 birthplace MO
Delany S. (twin f) age 6 MO
Marshall T (twin m) age 6 MO
Avy (Eva) Jane age 2 MO
Apparently Jesse's first wife died as there is another marriage to Melvina E. Wilson in Laclede Co., MO 1 Apr 1866.
I need to CONNECT Jesse by some sort of records to a parent. Everything points to William as the father due to birth place as KY and then on to IL and then to Laclede Co., MO.
Per my notes I have William dying in Laclede Co., MO in 1851.
Do you have anything?
