I have just started researching the Brake side of my family. Looking for any information before and after my ggrandfather Louis Brake. Louis Brake m. Rena McIntosh abt. 1890 in Webster Cty Kentucky. Had daughter Ethel Brake b. 9-1901 in Evansville, Indiana.
Checking many websites and links I have found only 1 reference to Louis Brake or Rena Brake, their marriage. Rena was to have been 1/2 Indian, either Cherokee or Creek??
Any information would be greatly appreciated and willing to share what I know of the current Brakes.
