I am researching my natural parents and ancestors.
My grandmother was Lucy Naomi Brailsford, born 1903/4. She married Alfred John Wakley, a labourer, at St.Matthews Church, St.Marylebone, London, 3/4/1926. She was living at 3 Earl Cottages, believed to have been in Southwark or Bermondsey, London. She was three months pregnant.
Her father was James Henry Brailsford, a horsekeeper. Also shown as witnesses on the marriage certificate are Annie Brailsford and Harriett Brailsford.
Any information would be most useful.
