Thanks for your reply. I don't have a Daniel Boone Bragg in that family. I do have a Dunbar Bragg - perhaps a misspelling or misread on DAR records? They sound similar enough to be a possibility. I have Joseph and Mary Tapp getting married in 1689 and Joseph Bragg the son born in 1690. I don't have anything before Joseph and Mary Tapp. Would you check the dates for Thomas Bragg b 1580, that doesn't seem quite right given his son was born around 1689-90. Sorry I can't help you there.

DAR records do show two Bragg teens arriving on the ship "Constant" as original settlers of Jamestown. It is speculated that Thomas married the Captains daughter and eventually, through his offspring, founded the NC and SC Braggs.

I can help you on some of the later relatives. Thomas Churchville Bragg is the Thomas I mention with 11 children, including General Braxton T Bragg. He was born 5/5/1788 and had eight siblings: Anna, Penelope, Sidney (male), Phillip, Bonada, Hannah, Lovey, and John.

I come Thomas' son William who had daughters Mary A and Jane, and a son James K P Bragg. Mary A Bragg is my maternal grandmother's maternal grandmother and she remembers hearing about her. We also have some pictures of Mary's children.

I'd be happy to share a GEDCOM with Braggs, if you're interested.
