Thanks for the information of those connected to Gen. Bardstreet. His step-graddaughter (Martha) married a Mr. Codd, and divorced in 1819. Martha had Edward, whose middle name was Livius. This Edward married Phebe (nee unknown) and had lived in Masonville, NY, where his children, Martha,b. 1833, Sarah, b.1834 (who later married Silas E. Crandall),and Flavilla, b.1837 (later married Oren Humphrey), were born. Edward later moved to Bennettsville, NY. His mother moved there and is believed to have died there in 1873. Edward also had a step-son, George R. Bradstreet, who married Jennie Corbin. Who were George's parents (?). Was he a son of Edward's daughter, Martha? It is from this George that my wife's family is descendened from.
Who was the resident of the home in Schenantady, NY that the Bradstreet letter(of which I have some copies) were found? Any further information?
