Richard Bradshaw is not a popular given name among the 18th century Bradshaws. There was a Richard Bradshaw in Virginia immediately after the Indian massacre of 1622 but he didn't seem to stay. I've stumbled across one possibility for you, only because of his possible association with Tennessee. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to have had a brother named Joseph, but he and his wife Lydia had a son named Joseph..
also the name Richard appears often in this branch of the family...
