The will of Richard Perkins was posted on the internet
from Old Service Book 1, pg 92-93 made in 1784
it was proved June 7, 1787
Witnesses were:
Tandy Key
Joshua Bradshaw
Samuel Allen Murray
The estate was appraised by
Richard Hall, John Pettus and Joseph Herndon on
July 27,1787
I have done a lot of research in Fluvanna Co Va
due to the fact that my grgrandparents and
grandparents lived there.
There may have been a connection to a Perkins family
and my grgrandmother was Mary A. Herndon, who married
David c.Robinson
Rebecca A. Robinson(their dau.) b. 1853 married
my grandfather, John Walker Pace b. 1843
