I am a Bradnam born 1969 in Beckenham,Kent and as yet I have only limited details of my ancestors. The earliest ancestor I have traced is a Robert Bradnam b. 1831, married to a Sarah Moseley and living in Bow, E. London. It appears he had an older brother who emigrated to Australia and a younger brother called Tom b. 1834@ who married someone called Polly; they had a son who may have gone to Cambridge and who eventually had three daughters, Alice, Florrie and Poppy. Robert and Sarah had three children, Emily Moseley b.1857, Walter b. 1861 who married Esther Fanny Haynes on 27/05/1867 and who lived in South Norwood, and a mystery son. Walter and Esther had 7 children, Walter Robert, Constance, Ethel Mary, Arthur Frederick (my grandfather), Florence Louisa, Leonard Haynes and Alice Maude. I am aware that my Great-great grandfather was a market gardener and have one possible link to HIS father who may have been a Charles BradMan, also a market gardener in Clerkenwell. I am hoping that somewhere amongst all the Bradnams there will be somebody who can fill in the missing info and add an extra dimension to my family tree!! Notify Administrator about this message?
