Interested in your Thomas Bradfield family. Is there any chance that he had an adopted son?
According to my great grandfather, Walton Bradfield, he was adopted by a family headed by Thomas Bradfield, and should have been listed as 11 in the 1850 census.
I have checked the Thomas Bradfield who went from Columbiana Co to Morrow Co but Walton was not found there.
(Some of Walton's pension papers mention Columbiana Co as
birth place) ANY response, fruitful or otherwise, greatly appreciated.
