You've taken on quite a challenge. There were Bradfields in at least 24 of England's counties prior to 1700. I doubt that my John Bradfield had been born by 1670, as he did not marry until 1712. I have no specific information on the English origin of any American Bradfields. However, the parents of John Bradfield's wife, Jane Harmer, were from Wiltshire. There were several Bradfields in America before 1750. Following are dates of the first records I have found of Bradfields in the US, none of whom I have related to each other: Cornelius in Virginia, 1639, and Anne in Virginia, 1646 (both apparently came as servants, no further record); Leslie in Connecticut, 1640 (he had descendants); John in Pennsylvania, 1712 (principal family in my book); another John in Virginia, 1739 (came as a servant and married, but no specific record of children); Elizabeth in Maryland, 1746 (when she married; I have no further record of her); Zachariah in Virginia, 1747 (second family covered in my book). Presumably, all came from England, but I cannot say where in England.
