Elizabeth (Bessie) Bradfield was born in 1821 in County Cork, Ireland. Her parents were Michael and Martha Bradfield.
Elizabeth married Michael Swanton (b. 1820), and they had the following children:
John, Ellen, William, Margaret, James, Robert
In 1865, they lived in the townland of Boulteen, parish of Desertserges.
Elizabeth and Michael emigrated to Boston August 15, 1880 on SS Samaria. They lived at 274 2nd, South Boston, where she died in 1884.
Michael Swanton returned to Boulteen and died at the Bandon workhouse in 1890.
