Below is some miscellaneous information I have collected on the Bracy-Bracey surname in York, ME, which may give you some leads.William and his son Joseph are descendants of Thomas Bressey who settled in New Haven, CT during the 1600's.The information is earlier than the time period you are looking for, but it may help.

21 Apr 1730 A man who married a widow became responsible for her former husband’s debts if she brought any property at all to the marriage.To avoid this, widows sometimes married draped only in a sheet or smock.On 21 Apr 1730, Jane Boothby and Elizabeth Rich testified that before the wedding of William Bracy and Mary Rylance, William brought “her clothes to us the deponents, both linen and woolen, and all the things that was needful for the dressing of a woman, and delivered us to dress the afore said woman, to be married in, and we were present and saw the said Bracey married to the said Rilance in those clothes before mentioned”.
1709-1719 William resided in York, Maine, where he worked as a weaver.He was chosen constable in 1714, and hayward in 1715.He served on the Trial Jury in 1709, 1713, and 1719, and on the Grand Jury in 1716 and 1717.He was on the committee to lay out highways in Kittery in 1715, and in Saco in 1719.
25 Sep 1732 William Bracy was granted shares in common lands at York at a town meeting held that day.
4 Oct 1736 William Bracy sold his dwelling-house, barn, orchard, and garden, as well as his shares in common land in York to James Grant.On this same day, William purchased land in Biddeford, York Co., ME, where he resided until his death.
28 Aug 1751 William wrote his will, which was proved on 4 Jan 1757.
