I am a descendant of Sarah Moore who married John James in SC. Sarah Moore is the sister of Isham Moore and they are children of John Moore and his wife Tabitha Pace. I am descended from Samuel James who was the son of John James and his wife Sarah Moore. Samuel James married Mary Darrington, daughter of Robert Darrington and Ann Rees of SC. Are you really confused now? The Darringtons, James, Moores and Singleton's all intermarried in SC.
1) John James m. Sarah Moore daughter of John Moore and Tabitha Pace.
2) Samuel James m. Mary Darrington, daughter of Robert Darrington and Ann Rees
3) Mary Darrington James m. Francis Boykin (1785-1839)SC and Dallas Co. AL.
