Merry Bracey (1783-1840) m. Elcie (Alice) Moore, daughter of Isham Moore and Nancy Ann Singleton in Sumter Co. SC on March 6, 1804. They later moved to Hinds Co. MS. They had the following children:

1) Augustus James Bracey, b. 1806
2) Gabrielle Bracey, b. 1810
3) William Isham Bracey, b. 1812
4) Ann Mary Bracey, b. March 22, 1814
5) Sallie Bracey, b. 1816
6) Xenophon Lynch Bracey, b. December 16, 1816
7) Eugenia Bracey, b. 1817

I am a descendant of Sarah Moore, sister of Isham Moore, and Samuel James. Would like to correspond with any descendants of Merry Bracey and his wife Elcie (Alice) Moore. Will be glad to share what family information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
