Thanks Doug,Don't know that I can help you with the Ohio group.Mine came to Virginia earlier. The book at DAR is by Carstair Bracey entitled "Bracey of Virginia" or Bracey. There are two versions of this book, the later version having pages 25a and 25b. These are the pages that include my g-g-grandfather and family. They would lead on down to me.That edition is at Salt Lake City and I have copies from it.If these pages are not in the DAR Library version I'd like to know how to go about getting them put there. If they are there then I could use that book as a reference for lineage. He is Phillip Bracey son of William married to Eugenia Singleton.
I'll appreciate what you find out. I have Bracey-Brassey-Bressie-Family info from England and does include Braose.Came over with William the Conqueror Raol Seigneur de Brecey,Wilhimius. Name also given as Bracy.Descendant built home at Malvern named Madresfield, still inhabited by descendants, never sold only inherited. I've visited and met them. Dickens' "Bleak House" taken from fortune left to them also Waugh's "Brideshead Revisited" about the Lygon Family there. Larry
