Hi Lawrence,,

I have access to the DAR library since I am in the Washington area a few days a month. I have a James (John) Brassey that immigrated in the early 1800's. He married Rachel Roughton after they both immigrated and had a farm in Ohio. I am interested in other Brassey, Bracey, Brase, Bras, Brasseye, Brassie, Bressey connections. I am Connect to Washington, Lee, Taliaferro, Grymes, Catlett, Warner, Stribling, Townley through other lines. I have numberous generations that are 13 & 14 generation decendants. I believe I am somehow connected to William Broase that was in the crusades with William the Conqueror. I get there through other lines as well. I hope some folks can shed some light on who my Brassey immigrant is. Thanks, Doug
