Is anyone researching the BRACEWELL, TOPPING, COTTEN, and LLEWELLYN families in northeastern NC and VA?
I am researching 5G-grandmother, Mary Topping BRACEWELL
and her parents Solomon & Elizabeth ___ BRACEWELL.
Solomon BRACEWELL (later spelling became BRASWELL) died bef 14 Nov 1795, Edgecombe Co., NC.
Mary Topping BRACEWELL married Rhoderick COTTEN after 1801, Edge. Co., NC.
Rhoderick COTTEN died Dec 1815, Edge. Co., NC.
Their son John Llewellyn COTTEN, b. 6 May 1810, Edge. CO., NC.
Mary Topping BRACEWELL was called "Topping."
I want to know where the TOPPING family connection comes in with Mary's ancestors.
Also the LLEWELLYN family connection?
