Thank you for sharing your research.

I am trying to find a bit more on a Brazil PRATER who flourished 1772 with a plat in SC on DUNCANs Creek waters the Enoree River--wondering if his name might have been Bracewell....

I believe this same man is seen with at least the following variable spellings:

PRATHER, BRAZZEL/
PRATER, BRAZEL/
PRETHER, BOZEL/
PRITHER, BEZEL/
PRATHER, BAZIL/
PRATER, BASDALE/
PRATHER, BRICE/
PRATOR, Bazel
RATHER, BASIL/
PRATHER, BASIL
PRATOR, BASEL JR
PRATHER, BASEL/
PRATER, BASIL

I'd like to know a more specific location for his plantation or homesite in SC (maybe on a current road map).

I have only a couple of notes for a Needham JERNIGAN (fl abt 1760 SC) as yet:

JERNIGHAM, NEEDHAM/
JERIGAN, HARDIRICE AND NEEDHAM/

Were they trading in SC?

I seem to have gravitated toward mining, blacksmithing, distilling, ironmongery and tinsmith ventures in SC.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
