I am a descendant (great-grandson) of Janna Cornelia den Braber (1872 - 1957), who was also known as Joha Cornelia den Braber. She was born in Veere, Zeeland, Netherlands, daughter of Jan den Braber and Cornelia Meertens. She came to America in 1897. She had other siblings, including Cornelius den Braber (1868 - 1930), who also came to the US. Both settled in Philadelphia, PA. Janna married Carl Algott Johansson (1875 - 1934), immigrant from Karlshamn, Sweden. Janna then went by the name Johanna C. Johnson. (Her husband used the name Charles A. Johnson.)
