Kerns married "Hattie Bozarth" in 1884, according to the marriage records of Henry County Missouri. There is a "Kerns, Annie E. Bozarth" daughter of John R and Mary, buried in the Bozarth cemetery who died in 1888. Marion M. Kerns remarried in Henry County in 1991. On the 1880 census, they have listed in the John R and Mary household a Harriet and an Annie E. Did Hattie and Annie both marry a Kerns or did they call Annie by "Hattie".
