Hi Wendy: Have hust seen your message. I do believe that we are related. I have met your father Alex and your mother.

several years ago I visited Scotland and stayed with Bill and Maureen.

My great grandfather Thomas Boyter was born in Cellardyke a son of Robert Boyter and Ann Melville. He had a brother David who married Margaret Parker and stayed in Scotland. There was another brother Robert who married Isabella Robertson who came to Canada.

Thomas was a fisherman on the great lakes while Robert became a lighthouse keeper near Gore Bay on Manitoulin Island.

I am very interested in genealogy and am happy to get any info I can and also am willing to share.

I am going to bi in Vancouver early April to help my brother and his wife celebrate theor 50th wedding anniversary.

Let me hear from you again. Betty.
