O'Boyles in Mayo

Dear Friends

We are researching our O'Boyle ancestry.

My gg grandmother Mary O'Boyle (also recorded as Boyle) was born in
Crossmolina, Co. Mayo (near Ballina) on 10 May 1835, the daughter of Thomas and Bridget
O'Boyle, both of whom died in 1849.

She came to Australia on the "orphan ship" the Panama with her sister
Bridget, arriving on 12 Jan 1850.

The girls were indentured as domestics until Mary md. Augustus Linkenbagh on
16 Nov 1857.

I would be delighted to hear from you if you think there may be a link eg
sibling, common name, placename etc.

I have attached a family report that I hope is of interest. We have imited
it here to 2 generations, but would be pleased to forward more. Mary's
granddaughter-in-law, my grandmother is still living at age 100 and has keen
recollections of family history, and would be thrilled to hear of any links.

Best Regards, David Davidge
