In Reply to: Boyle, Patrick late 1800's ireland-N.Y. by Joyce Borlaug of 2800

Mary Ann Boyle was my grandmother. Her second husband was John Beiter. Her first husband, my grandfather and father of all of her children was Richard Cooley. He was born in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada.

Mary's brothers and sisters that I am aware of were:

Thomas - a railroad man,who married Margaret O'Neal
Patrick - A fire chief, who married Cora Wagner
James - who owned a hotel in Canada
Margaret - who married Frederick Lochnicht
Julia

There was an earlier Mary who died young in Ireland
Additionally there were some children who did not migrate to America.

I'd be inerested in any information that you have on James or on any specific information on when and how they came to the US.

Allen Makely
