Mary, Please reply directly to me at address: marvcox@kaycee.net
Your message was very confusing so I called Donna and we figured it out this way. Your message says that Michael was the son of Bernard and Unity. Our records show that Bernard and Unity had 10 children but we only have records of 6 of them. Some of the names you mention were new to us and the ages you list seem out of sync with other known facts. Bernard listed as age 42 in 1873 fits pretty well but Michael listed as age 40 doesn't fit at all unless he is one of those 4 children that we don't know the name. Edward age 50 and Margaret age 46 may also be part of the previously unknown children of Bernard & Unity. So, all at this point is very confusing. We are pretty sure that Bernard, Jr. born 1833 by our records married Cecelia (Sibby) Jordan and we list them as having 8 children, the youngest of them being Michael b. 2 Feb 1867. The fact that each generation seems to have a Bernard, a Michael, a John, a Dominic, etc. sure does make life confusing.
We were never sure that Bernard and Unity actually moved to Scotland but we were piecing things together that way and now we seem to have support. One question we have is whether Bernard (unity's husband) moved to Scotland or did he remain in Ireland? (Either deceased or alive?).
Please, lets try to establish more direct communication at first using direct email.
Marvin
