Trying to trace family of Owen (aka Nicholas) BOYLE b 1836 IRE, wife Ellen b.1841 IRE. Their children all born in England, mostly Black Hill, DUR, Pat (b 1859), Nicholas (1861), James (1867), Owen (1874), John (1877), Mary (1863), Ellen (1873) and Elizabeth (1878).

They lived around Consett, DUR, including Leadgate. Other names linked to this branch are WELCH, ROBSON and HINDS.

If anyone can help, especially in establishing a link back to Ireland, ie how can I get a place name in Ireland to start, I'd be very grateful. Otherwise, if any of this rings a bell, please get in touch.
