Hello Sherri Little:

I recently found a message that you posted in reply to Sue Ellen Lutz on 10-30-2001 concerning the Boyle family, stating that you are connected to her and that George P. Boyl, son of John and Lucretia Boyle, is your relative. I am related to Lucretia Draper who was the wife of John Boyle, thus also being related to their descendants. Sue replied on 16 Oct 2001 to a message I posted on 7 Nov 2000 about Lucretia Draper. I forgot for over three years where I had posted that inquiry, and by chance visited the Draper site at Gen Forum this past January and found her reply to me. I responded to her reply, but have not yet received a reply back from her. Then I looked through her history of posts and found your messages to and from her.

Lucretia Draper was the third daughter of William Draper and Lydia Lathrop, born in Rome, Oneida Co., New York, on 2 April 1802. Her father was born in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania, which valley was claimed by Connecticut at the time he was born on 6 Sep 1774. Lucretia's mother was born on 5 Nov 1775 in Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut.

Lucretia's older siblings are Phebe and Mary (called Polly). Her younger siblings are Fanny Adelia, William Jr. (my ancestor), Lydia, Zemira, Marvin, Alfred, and Carson. Today I decided to look up your history of postings concerning the Boyle family and found one by you in reply to a person named Annmarie on 2 May 2001 which said that George P. Boyl's middle name was Pemroy. That makes me wonder if the Boyles family ever lived in Cramahe Townsip, Northumberland County, Upper Canada (Ontario), as there was a George Pomeroy living there in the early 1800's. Incidentally, the family of William and Lydia Lathrop Draper lived in the same township from about mid-late 1807 to 1813-14. They moved to the next township to the west, namely Haldimand about 1813-14 and stayed there until about 1820. Then they moved to Loughborough Township, Frontenac County, Upper Canada (Ontario). [Loughborough is near the city of Kingston]. Most of the family migrated to Ohio in the mid-late 1830's. Some went west in the 1840's - 1850's.
-Joy
