My wife's father Robin James Boyle has little recollection of his family. So to help spark my wife's interset in genealogy,I am looking for details (and parents etc.) for a James BOYLE who married a Mary HOGAN around 1910-1920, they had three children:-
Mary
Michael
Robin James
Robin James went on to be a broadcaster with the BBC, a career of some 50 years culminating with the 'Friday Night is Music Night' programme on BBC Radio 2.
Apart from the fact that this line of BOYLE's originated in Ireland I know little about them. It is believed that at least one of James Boyles brothers was involved in the 'troubles' but on which side is not known.
If anyone can shed any light on this family I'd be glad to hear from them.
