Looking for any descendants of Owen BOYLE from Oil City, Pa.. Entry: History of Venango County: "Jacob M. Boyle, who died at his home in Cranberry Twp. Sept 8, 1859, was born in Ireland in 1816, son of Owen & Mary BROGAN BOYLE. He immigrated to the US with parents, who first settled in Lancaster Co, Pa, subsequently resided in Lebanon & Centre counties, and about 1834 removed to Venango county and setled on a tract of 250 acres in Cranberry twp. They had a family of 8 sons and 2 daughters: Michael, who died in Ireland; Mrs Rosanna Byrnes; John who died in Illinois; Owen, a farmer of this township; Charles, a resident of Kansas; Timothy, wo died in the Mexican war, and Francis of allegheny city."
