My great Grandfather was named Robert Boyle, and all I know is that he married Agnes Nancy Wilson in the early to mid 1900's. Robert and Agnes had 3 children - Ann, Mary and William (my grandfather).
They all came to America from the Glasgow Scotland area around 1921 (or shortly thereafter).
Do you know more about your Robert Boyle? I am having a heck of a time trying to find him here. Robert and Agnes both died in Michigan, Robert in the mid 1950's, and Agnes in the early 1960's.
