My mother's maiden name was Katherine Cecilia Boyle (she is 85 yrs old). Her father's name was John Boyle (died Jan. 1943), he married Grace Veronica Duggan (died Feb. 1936) in Brooklyn, NY, USA. I believe one or both (still checking) of them came from Donegal, Ireland. They had 10 children (2 died at birth).
Their eight children that survied are:
Patrick Boyle (died 1975) married Helen Schenk (spelling ?) - Children: Patricia, Brian Joseph, Richard & Barry Boyle.
Marie Boyle (died April 1998 @ 86 yrs), never married, no children.
Katherine Cecilia Boyle (my mother), married Philip James Kelly on 4/6/47 in Brooklyn, NY, he died 1/30/89 - Children: Kathleen Ann (me), Grace Veronica (twin of William Johnson Kelly) and William Johnson Kelly (twin of Grace Veronica)
Charles Boyle (died 1969), never married, no children.
Rose Saphire Boyle (died 1996), married Charles Norman Higgins on 12/26/43, he died in 1994 - Child:: Dennise Rose Higgins
Margaret Boyle, married Al Malone - Children: Allison & Anne
Grace Veronica Boyle, married Henry Dennis Barnes - Children: Victoria Ann and Dennis Henry Barnes.
John James Boyle (died Nov. 1992), never married, no children.
All the above 8 children grew up in Brooklyn, NY.
My last living relatives are checking the names of my grandfather Boyle and grandmother Duggan's family names before leaving Ireland.
