My gg-grandparents Edward Joseph Maguire and Emily Boyle, came
from Fermanaugh Co. Ireland, to the U.S. in 1892 or 1896. They
married in the U.S, and eventually arrived in St. Louis, Mo.
Along with them came some brothers and sisters:
John Maguire, Frank Maguire, James Maguireand Maggie(Maguire or
Boyle) There were others, but I don't know their names.
John m. Jennie (?):they lived in St. Louis, Mo.
had 3 children 1900-1910: Johnnie, Margaret, Jennie
(? female) m. (?) Houlihan: several children: one named Jack
Maggie m. (?) Cassidy: several children: on married a doctor.
(?) m. Nagy (or Dragy): several children.
Frank m. (?) - lived in Chicago
James m. (?) moved back to Ireland.
Edward Joseph m. Emily Boyle: (my gg-grandparents) 4 children:
Edward Joseph, Cornelius, Emily-Julia, and Jerome.
Edward Joseph (b. 8-5-1900, d. 5-10-72) married
Margaret Olivia Byrnes (b. 7-12-01, d. 5-19-92)
had 7 children:
Edward Joseph, Jr., William Boyle, Alice Mary Theresa,
Margaret Emily, Thomas James, John Glennon, Ellen Kathleen
Cornelius never married.
Emily-Julia m. Larry Dillard in St. Louis, Mo. He was a race car
mechanic. There are at least 2 boys,(Jerry) and 1 girl.
Emily-Julia had to put her children in the Catholic orphanage
and also worked there. Emily-Julia died 1/13/1967.
Jerome m. (?): 2 children, names unknown.
