The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 9, 1905 LINCOLN EVENTS: MANEY FOSTER will move on the old home place this spring. Quarterly conference of the M.E. Church will be held at Lucas at 2:30 Saturday. Officers are requested to be present. The Inland Coal Company have moved their drill back to the northeast part of this township on the JAS. BROWN farm. The company has taken options on other land in that section recently. FRANK AVERY of Lansing, Mich., who has been visiting friends and relatives here, returns to his home this week. MRS. CHRIS PRATHER accompanied him home to visit his mother, a sister of MRS. PRATHER. MRS. A.A. WARRINGTON of Montrose, Cal., who had been visiting her brother-in-law, ALVA BOYLAN and family, leaves this week for her home. She will make a visit at Atchison, Kas., with her brother, JAMES HOLBROOK. The fourth quarterly meeting of the Evangelical Church will be held at the Zion Church on February 11th and 12th. A most interesting program has been prepared. On Saturday night there will be preaching, also Sunday morning.
