Hello,
I found some more info. James BOYET, son of Thomas BOYT born about 1745, had a son Soloman who lived in Coffee Co. TN.
Henry BOYET moved to Gibson Co., TN in about 1816.He lived in Bedford, and Obion Co.s also.
Henry BOYET moved to Gibson Co., TN in about 1816.He lived in Bedford, and Obion Co.s also.Elisha W. BOYET lived in Hardeman Co.
Elisha W. BOYET lived in Hardeman Co.Howell BOYET also lived in Hardeman Co.
Howell BOYET also lived in Hardeman Co.Those are the mainfamilies that I found that left NC for Tennessee. I am sure there were more. Some of the records of the book list the families according to the census, ie by sex and approx. age. I have looked through the book and couldn't connect Amos to your family. That dosent mean it didnt happen. I have worked with Wendy Elliott, the author of the book, in the past. My family was lost. A cousin found their records in the courthouse basement in Troy, Alabama. There are families that are incomplete, Wendy is a great genealogist but not perfect. *S* Just keep searching and one day you will hit paydirt.
