In another part of the same paper:
Charles Boyes, of Geneva, was at work on some scaffolding, roofing with tin his father's new store building, at Geneva, Tuesday, when the scaffolding on which he was working, broke and fell to the ground, taking with it M.A. Crocker, who was working with him. Charley cought his fingers on the edge of the roof, and held on until a ladder was brought. How was that for grip? Crocker was somewhat bruised.
