I am a Robson with a Boyes in my ancestry. My grandmothers birth mother's name was Annie Boyes. I know that my grandmother was born in Yorkshire, not sure if Annie was. Annie married a George Gardner and moved to Canada.

Not sure if this helps you...but thought the 2 names intertwining was interesting.
