Ellen Hurley and Thomas Stephen Boyers were married in Biddeford Maine on 8 January 1873.

I think the FreeBMD shows Thomas' birth in the 4th quarter of 1847.

As posted above, Thomas arrived in the U.S. on the Ship Neptune on 6 April 1865. There were five children; Thomas, John, Henry, Joseph, and Mary. They arrived with the father, Joseph. It appears that mother, Mary Gilroy, arrived earlier.

The 1870 census shows the family in Biddeford, ME.

The 1851 census includes the address of 'Nelson's Place' on Cumberland Street. ~ Today this is an industrial part of Hull, according to a distant relative.

I would love an opportunity to see that family bible of which you speak.
