There are many Robert's in the Boyd line. My great, great grandfather was Robert Winchester Boyd, born 1817 in Carter County, TN, married in Roane County, TN, died in Merrick County, NB. There are many theories as to who his father was: Henry S, Hugh, or even Jeremiah. I would love to connect on to the right father. Do you have any information on this line? Robert had 12 children. I am the great grand daughter of John Evangelist (who also had 12 children. My grandfather was Simon Patrick, father is Simon Lee. I am befuddled and confused and very interested. Any help would be appreciated. (There are many Williams also!)
