I truly need all the help that I can get on my Boyd's. Any information that anyone can give me on Thomas Boyd who was born in Indiana abt. 1825 (I believe Perry Co.)and died July 4, 1863 in the battle of Vicksburg (he enlisted in Jeffersonville, IN in the Indiana 49th Regiment, I have pension papers on him) would be greatly appreciated. His wife was Mary Elizabeth Bolin who was born abt. 1832, they were married March 25, 1846 in Perry County, IN. After Thomas' death, she married a Thomas Reedy. Thomas Boyd is my great great grandfather and his son Willis Boyd born Feb. 1860 is my great grandfather. Willis' son Joseph A. Boyd born 1890 was my grandfather. In 1860 Thomas and Mary Elizabeth are living in Perry County, IN with family. I would very much like to find out who Thomas Boyd's parents were.
